Follow-up visits were made this month to two libraries, one in Sal (Irbid) and one in Smakiyah (Karak) to check on their conditions and encourage book reading.
These libraries, set up in recent years with the help of different sponsors, not only offer quality reading materials for children, but also provide a place for them to gather for group activities.
STEPS is seeking sponsorship to establish children’s libraries in other remote areas of Jordan who are requesting them.
