With the sponsorship of Bank al Etihad and the support of Al Asriyya School (who offered the venue and transportation) we invited 100 orphans from Al Hussein refugee camp to our first Ramadan event of 2022.
The 50 boys and 50 girls happily participated in outdoor games before sundown. After the nutritious iftar meal everyone gathered for a lovely puppet show presented by Bank al Etihad, followed by a fun clown program from Omar and Ismael of Asbar Institution. Before heading back, home gifts were distributed to all.
Al Fawanees events aim to spread joy, encourage creativity and provide worthwhile experiences to the less privileged during the holy month of Ramadan.
