More Meal Distributions

In October, Executive Chef Emmanuel from InterContinental hotel accompanied Family Kitchen on a distribution inside Baqa’a refugee camp where he personally helped to serve 50 meals of chicken, freekeh and sweets. He was able to see first-hand what happens to the excess food we regularly collect from the 5-star kitchen he manages, as well as to meet a few of the many thankful beneficiaries.

Volunteers continued to collect and distribute food, with an estimated 3,600 meals salvaged and delivered in September and October.

We extend a special THANK YOU to the InterContinental Hotel, as well as Crowne Plaza, Four Seasons, Sheraton and Le Royal for their continued participation in the Family Kitchen initiative to deliver excess food to those in need.
