As part of the Yalla Niqra / ‘Let’s Read’ initiative supported by Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation’s 2018 grant, we re-visited the Women’s Charity of Naba Al Khalid in Tafilah to follow up on the library established there a few weeks ago.
A group of eager children were waiting to show us their notebooks and tell us of their favorite reading moments, as per their assignments from our previous visit. They had certainly enjoyed their reading experience and, after a simple arts-and-craft session, they were happy to receive their well-deserved prizes.
Thank you to STEPS volunteers Luzan, Rasha, Sajeda and Ala. As in all our follow up visits we also had the chance to present the society with additional books to add to the library.
