STEPS invited 10 orphan children from Al Ghaith Society in Hay Nazzal to Istishari Hospital for this first Teddy Bear Clinic event. Through the use of teddy bears, children aged 6-9 years are introduced to what it’s like to visit a doctor, clinic or hospital, to explore health care experiences and to learn about healthy habits.

Many thanks for their great participation to the management and staff of Istishari Hospital, to Dr. Jawad Yaseen, Chef Fuad, graphic artist Ayat Alanber (who designed the teddy bear card), Sariyah Express Bus Co (who provided the transportation), volunteer Mansour Mouasher (who documented the event with high quality photos) and STEPS volunteers Mai and Samir.

The children learned so much and everyone’s contributions made it a memorable event indeed.

Supported by: Istishari Hospital, Sariyah Express Bus Co.
