Developing children’s curiosity is crucial, even in their times of hardship, and is one of the aims of the FUNDAY initiative.
STEPS made arrangements for 25 Syrian refugee children to visit The Alchemist Lab, where they had a fun 90 minute science session.
The children enjoyed discovering some of the properties of air and of unusual states of matter, learning about recycling and doing arts and crafts to demonstrate balance.
