A group of boys and girls from low-income families in Ashrafieh had the opportunity to learn cooking tips and skills at the Arriba Latino Restaurant from Chef Firas and staff.
The lovely lunch, which the children helped prepare, was followed by simple arts-and-craft projects. STEPS volunteer Edgars also showed the children how their names are written in the Russian alphabed (Cyrillic script).
It was a great outing and educational experience. Thank you to Arriba and the STEPS volunteers who participated.
