Many thanks to the kind-hearted donor who sent JD50 to help Syrian refugees with shoes for their children. That amount, roughly equivalent to USD 70, provided shoes for 10 orphan children among Syrian refugees in the North of Jordan.
These children have lost their fathers and half of them are also missing their mothers. All the families depend on donations for their day-to-day survival, so this gift of new shoes was a highlight for them.
They expressed their thanks with a lovely drawing saying ‘shukran’ (‘thank you’), written both in Arabic script and with English letters.
