Thank you to BLOM Bank for their sponsorship of this Al Fawanees event which benefited 100 children from an orphan society in Al Hussein refugee camp. Our thanks go also to Modern American School who generously provided the location and transportation.
The event started with active games in the green field and playground. Children were organized into 10 groups which rotated between activities. After breaking the fast with a lovely catered meal, everyone enjoyed the meaningful Joha stories presented by the small drama team headed by Ms. Fadia Eid of Asbar Institution, followed by more entertainment from Tarboosh.
The take-home gifts for all 50 boys and 50 girls were LEGO-type construction sets guaranteed to provide many hours of fun & creativity during the Summer holiday.
