As in previous years, The Cake Shop kindly invited us to host an iftar event for refugee ladies from Baqaa and Talbieh camps. Thank you, Cake Shop, for your generous hospitality!
In a lovely setting and with great food, the event was a very special treat for 20 hard-working widows, mothers and grandmothers who don’t have the chance to enjoy such outings at all.
STEPS covered the cost of transportation and provided simple take-home gifts which seemed to mean a lot to everyone.
