Thanks to the generous support of Al-Nisr Al-Arabi Insurance and the participation of their staff we were able to organize a lovely visit with the children of East Arenba Ladies’ Cooperative Society near Madaba where we had set up a Yalla Niqra / ‘Let’s Read’ library last year.
Among the books of the library is a collection of 10 illustrated books of Simple Science Experiments. It was fun to demonstrate some of those experiments which piqued the children’s curiosity, not only to try doing more experiments but also to read more books on a variety of interesting subjects. Promoting the joy of reading is something STEPS is always happy to do as often as possible.
Today’s visit also included indoor games, outdoor games and gifts for everyone.
