FUNDAY of Bowling and Games

In cooperation with I Have a Dream society in Wahdat refugee camp, STEPS invited 10 boys and girls to a fun outing at Mukhtar Mall, which included bowling, lunch and games. Dead Sea Spa Hotel Supports STEPS at Eid

A Braille Reader for Shahed

One of the wounded patients from Gaza receiving treatment at the King Hussein Medical Center in Amman is 9 year old Shahed who has been blind from birth. Back to School Program 2014

After purchasing 28 school bags and filling them with school stationery and supplies, story booklets and chocolate wafers, we drove to Al Dulayl (near Zarqa) and distributed them to needy children there. We were surprised to learn that, in spite of their families’ drastic economic conditions, two of the boys’ grade average last year was above 90% – one of them even got 97.7. Food Distribution in Baqa’a Refugee Camp

With the help of a teacher from the UNRWA Disability Center, six families in need were selected in Baqa’a Palestinian refugee camp to each receive a box of food supplies. Two of the families were visited in their own homes where it was really clear to see how little they have.
